The Villa is just a short walk from the Piazza Tasso and the Corso Italia, Sorrento’s favorite promenade filled with fashionable boutiques, cafés, and restaurants beyond compare. As you take and reinvigorating five minute stroll, you can visit the Villa Comunale, together with the Basilica and the Cloister of San Francis. The Villa Comunale is a small public garden which drops off sheer into the sea and offers a breathtaking view onto the Gulf of Naples. From there, it is just a short distance to the sun bathing paradise of the Marina Grande which you can reach by foot or on an elevator for one Euro. For anyone who visits Sorrento, an absolute “must “is an outing to see the ruins of Villa di Pollio Felice. Also very worth visiting are the Museo Correale di Terranova, the Duomo and the Sedil Dominova.
Getting everywhere you want to go. Villa Contessina is also close to the station of Circumvesuviana. Here you can get a bus or a taxi that can take you to all destinations within the immediate area and to all the important sight-seeing locations on the Amalfi coast.
Adjacent to the Villa, you will find the tourist office for the city of Sorrento. The staff there will provide you with all the information you will need to travel to Naples and all the archeological sites of Pompei and Herculaneum.
In addition, the port of Sorrento is just a short distance away from Sorrento. So if you would like to take a hydroplane on a fantastic trip to a number of intriguing destinations, you can take a short excursion to popular spots like Capri, Positano and the Amalfi Coast, Ischia and Naples.

By Plane: The nearest airport to Sorrento is Naples Capodichino International Airport that is 50 km. from Sorrento. Upon request we will arrange for a car and driver to meet you upon arrival. The journey from Naples Airport will take approx. 1 hour.
Bus Time -
By Car
From Naples Train Station or from the Airport follow directions to the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria, exit in Castellammare di Stabia and follow directions to Penisola Sorrentina. Once in Sorrento continue towards Piazza Tasso and then towards Piazza Sant'Antonino.

From Napoli Stazione Centrale, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento as last stop. Trains for Sorrento leave every 20 to 30 minutes and the journey is approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes.
